About Me

I at­tended the Art In­sti­tute of At­lanta from 2008 through 2010, ob­tain­ing an As­so­ciates de­gree in Graph­ics De­sign. Since the be­gin­ning of Catalin Negru Designs, I worked as web designer and devel­oper. I cov­ers every­thing from de­sign­ing web lay­outs to cod­ing and in­te­gra­tion into CMS systems.

Be­fore start­ing my own free­lanc­ing busi­ness, I have gained expe­ri­ence work­ing at Cater­pil­lar as a graphic/hmi de­signer. There, I did User In­ter­face de­signs. I am a self-taught web de­sign and de­vel­op­ment specialist.

Work­ing at Cater­pil­lar taught me many things about de­vel­op­ment, in­clud­ing how to col­lab­o­rate as part of a team to ac­com­plish one com­mon goal. I also learned how to work with de­vel­op­ers, de­sign­ers, and en­gi­neers on projects.

When I am not pound­ing out awe­some work, I love get­ting away from the com­puter. I en­joys re­lax­ing and spend­ing time with my wife, and hav­ing an af­fair with my mo­tor­cy­cle every chance I can. I love rid­ing to the moun­tains through the wind­ing roads and just lis­ten­ing to the en­gine roar; it gives me an es­cape from all re­spon­si­bil­i­ties and wor­ries, and time to just en­joy for myself.
